ArcelorMittal acquires Münker Metallprofile GmbH with Luther

ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel producer, acquires all shares in Münker Metallprofile GmbH. Luther provided legal advice to the buyer on the acquisition.

ArcelorMittal is an international steel group based in Luxembourg. It employs around two hundred thousand people at over 60 locations worldwide and produces 90 million tons of steel annually.

Münker Metallprofile GmbH has been a successful medium-sized manufacturer of steel, roof and wall elements for more than 40 years, in particular metal profiles used in the construction industry. ArcelorMittal has now acquired all shares in Münker Metallprofile via ArcelorMittal Construction Deutschland GmbH to round off and complete the product range in the Construction division. The successful company will be continued at the previous location with all employees and integrated into ArcelorMittal. A team from Luther Lawfirm led by partner Prof. Dr Jörg Rodewald provided legal support for the acquisition.
