Luther advises automotive supplier Schlote on entry of Afinum

AF Eigenkapitalfonds für deutschen Mittelstand GmbH & Co. KG, advised by the investment company AFINUM in Munich, invests in automotive supplier Schlote. In this transaction, Schlote Group was advised by Luther law firm led by Dr. Thomas Halberkamp.

This participation will strengthen the equity base of the automotive supplier and finance the development of new production sites. The transaction was completed at of the end of 2015. The parties agreed to treat the specific arrangements and the scope of the involvement as confidential.

Family-owned Schlote Group with 1,200 employees is rapidly growing, generating sales of well over EUR 200 million and specializing in the precision finishing of transmissions, engines and chassis components. Six production sites are located in Germany, the Czech Republic and, since 2015, in China. Customers include, in particular, leading OEMs as well as suppliers and foundries.
