Luther advises BidFair on its $3.7bn acquisition of Sotheby’s

Luxembourg - Luther Luxembourg advised BidFair, a company wholly owned by the media and telecom entrepreneur Patrick Drahi, on its $3.7bn acquisition of international auction house Sotheby’s.

Luther in Luxembourg advised on the overall structuring and on the corporate and finance aspects of the deal that returned Sotheby’s to private ownership after being publically listed on the New York Stock Exchange for 31 years.
