Hanover – The Finnish-based international healthcare company Mehiläinen Oy has acquired the renowned Dalberg Klinik AG in Fulda. The entire transaction as well as the parallel certification of the digital health platform of the subsidiary BeeHealthy were legally advised by the Health Care & Life Science team of Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft.
With the acquisition of Dalberg Klinik, a high-quality hospital for orthopaedic surgery, the Mehiläinen Group is expanding into the German market as part of its international growth strategy. With the acquisition, Mehiläinen aims to expand its service offering in line with the company's broad range of healthcare services as well as to further develop its outpatient services.
The availability and quality of the new health services are to be improved by additional digital services of the Mehiläinen Group. The company also carried out the necessary extensive certification process for Germany with the support of Luther's health care experts in parallel to the acquisition process.
