Luther advises OFB on the sale of a hotel property in Düsseldorf

OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH has sold a hotel property in downtown Düsseldorf to Deka Immobilien. Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft provided legal support to OFB in the transaction.

Deka Immobilien acquires the 6,500 square metre building for the Westinvest Target Select Hotel special fund. The tenant is already Ruby Hotels & Resorts GmbH. The "Ruby Leni" hotel with 170 rooms is to be built by April 2019 and is currently undergoing renovation work. The building also includes an underground car park with 67 parking spaces and a theatre on the ground floor.

With a team of real estate and tax lawyers from Cologne, Düsseldorf and Munich, Luther advised the seller OFB legally. OFB is a subsidiary of Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen and belongs to the Helaba Real Estate Group. The Frankfurt company is active in project development and construction management of commercial properties in the Rhine-Main region. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
