Luther advises TÜV Rheinland on sale of food laboratories in China and Taiwan

Cologne – TÜV Rheinland, a leading independent testing service provider in Germany, has sold its food activities in China and Taiwan. TÜV Rheinland was assisted by law firm Luther in the bidding process and in the sale process to the Tentamus Group, including the necessary approvals and registrations in China and Taiwan.

Cologne – TÜV Rheinland, a leading independent testing service provider in Germany, has sold its food activities in China and Taiwan. TÜV Rheinland was assisted by law firm Luther in the bidding process and in the sale process to the Tentamus Group, including the necessary approvals and registrations in China and Taiwan.
The food laboratories in Fuzhou and Hainan, located in China, as well as the laboratory in Kaohsiung/Taiwan, will significantly strengthen the already existing laboratory network of the Tentamus Group in Greater China. The transaction was approved or registered by the local authorities at the end of September 2017 and was thus completed.
