Luther assists Postbank in the sale of a site in Bonn

Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft advised Deutsche Postbank on a real estate transaction in Bonn. The financial services provider sold an area on Kennedyallee with more than 32,000 square meters to the project developer Gerchgroup AG.

Postbank will continue to use its administrative buildings at Kennedyallee 62-70 as tenants under a sale and lease back agreement until the planned move to new premises. A cross-location Luther team consisting of real estate and tax lawyers assisted Postbank in the transaction. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Following Postbank's move, the Düsseldorf project developer Gerchgroup will begin construction of a quarter. In addition to an office building and a nursery school, new living space is to be built on a large area. An investment of around 130 million euros is planned.
