Stuttgart – With Gunnar Müller-Henneberg (39) Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft has gained a further restructuring specialist as a Partner in its Stuttgart office.
Müller-Henneberg’s focus lies in providing reorganisation advice both in and out of court with close ties to insolvency and corporate law issues. Müller-Henneberg has many years of experience dealing with self-administration, protective shield and insolvency plan proceedings.
Müller-Henneberg began his legal career at the Stuttgart law firm Elsäßer, which specialised in restructuring and insolvency administration and which then merged with the law firm Schultze & Braun in 2014. He has made a name for himself in the industry by providing reorganisation advice to a large number of well-known companies, most recently in Baden-Württemberg by advising the Kanz Group (Spielwaren Kurtz, Sons and Daughters, Kids Fashion), and nationally, for example in the automotive industry, by advising the Cologne car dealership group Dirkes in the context of a self-administered reorganisation.
Müller-Henneberg is bringing his whole team with him. Only last year, Luther expanded its restructuring team in Hamburg by recruiting Frank Tschentscher, who also came from Schultze & Braun.
“We are very pleased that Gunnar Müller-Henneberg and his team have decided to join our Restructuring & Insolvency practice in the Service Line Commercial and help expand the Stuttgart office”, said Volker Steimle, Head of Luther’s Service Line Commercial, about the new hires. “Thanks to their many years of expertise, and together with the experience of Luther’s existing restructuring team, we are now ideally positioned to push ahead in this area and to meet the requirements resulting from the overall economic situation, especially in the automotive industry,” continued Steimle.
“This will also in particular further strengthen the Mobility & Logistics team”, added Steffen Gaber, Partner and Head of Luther’s industry group Mobility & Logistics. “Due to his entrepreneurial approach, Gunnar Müller-Henneberg has within a short period of time gained an excellent reputation in the Stuttgart market, especially with tax and management consultancy firms, but also with other law firms,” he continued. “This will help us strengthen the practice that has already been established in Stuttgart and further expand this area.”
