Dusseldorf, 22/01/2025 – navou GmbH has successfully completed its first seed funding round. The innovative real estate start-up, with locations in Dusseldorf and Leipzig, plans to build a real estate portfolio with 10,000 residential units worth billions of euros by 2035. navou was accompanied by the experienced venture capital team at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft during the funding round. The team, led by PE/VC expert Philipp Glock, specializes in structuring and negotiating private equity and venture capital investments and advises particularly on innovative business models.
In the current year, with the help of generated growth capital, navou will acquire an existing property in North Rhine-Westphalia and transform it into a sustainable multi-unit dwelling using the company's innovative serial building system. To further expand its business and real estate portfolio, navou plans additional funding rounds in the coming years.
navou's innovative serial building system allows for the standardization of existing building conversions, substantially reducing both construction time and costs – an important step in meeting the growing demand for green and affordable housing in Germany.
Lisa Weise-Hoff, COO and co-founder of navou, said: “The cooperation with Luther in preparing our seed funding round was outstanding. They were not only available at all times and highly competent, but also a real enrichment on a personal level. We value our partnership greatly and look forward to working together on future projects.”
