U.S. software firm Fico acquires Tonbeller AG: Luther advises on acquisition

The acquisition marks a big step for Fico in the growing market for compliance solutions to guard against financial crime. Tonbeller’s current leadership will continue to manage the company after the acquisition. In addition, the company’s approximately 130 employees will be integrated into Fico’s anti-fraud division as an organizational unit. This will mean the location and their jobs will be maintained. The companies have agreed to keep the details of the purchase confidential.
