Leon Schmitter studied law at the University of Bonn (Germany). Following his legal training, which inter alia included a period of training in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), he started his professional career as a lawyer at a law firm in Cologne (Germany). Before moving to Luther, Leon Schmitter worked as an in-house lawyer at a Bonn-based company in banking and capital markets law.
