Katharina Franke advises both the public sector and private sector companies on all matters pertaining to state aid and public procurement law. As a lawyer, she has been involved in complex contract award procedures in the past.
Katharina Franke studied law at Ruhr University in Bochum (Germany) with an emphasis on business administration, the environment and infrastructure, which also included privatisation and public procurement law. From 2015 to 2017, she carried out her legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Hamm (Germany). After being admitted to the German Bar in 2018, Katharina Franke initially worked for a medium-sized law firm in Essen in the area of public procurement law before moving to Luther’s Essen office in 2020.
