Hamburg – A team of lawyers from Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft advised Nordex SE, a manufacturer of wind turbines, on a capital increase generating gross issue proceeds in the amount of EUR 201 million.
The wind turbine manufacturer resolved to carry out a capital increase from authorised capital and issue 10,668,068 new shares. In an accelerated book-building procedure, the new shares were offered for sale exclusively to institutional investors, by way of an international private placement, and were fully placed with these investors.
Nordex SE is planning to use the proceeds from this capital increase to foster future growth, strengthen its balance sheet and also for general company purposes.
The Luther team, led by Dr Jörgen Tielmann, has been advising Nordex SE for many years, for example, on the organisation of its annual general meetings, some of the company’s previous capital increases and also on a corporate bonds issue in 2011.
