Biotechnology company Medix Biochemica succeeds in a strategic acquisition with Luther's support

Since January 2025, CANDOR Bioscience GmbH, an internationally active biotechnology company focused on the development, production and distribution of high-quality solutions for immunoassays, has been part of the Finnish Oy Medix Biochemica Ab Group. With the acquisition of CANDOR Bioscience GmbH, Oy Medix Biochemica Ab has continued to strategically expand its market-leading range of critical raw materials for the in vitro diagnostics industry.

Luther's experienced Health Care team led by transaction specialists Dr. Oliver Kairies, Dr. Daniel Schubmann and Dr. Karina Wojtowicz handled the transaction for the Medix Biochemica Group, negotiated the respective transaction agreements with the various seller parties and provided comprehensive advice on the implementation of the transaction.
