Luther advises on merger of security technology companies

The merger of the three companies and Garda Holding creates one of the largest service providers for electronic security technology in Germany.

As part of the strategic merger, the Gleich Group, the vi2vi Group and Schmid Alarm were comprehensively advised by the Luther Corporate/M&A team led by Dr. Cédric Müller and Dr. Stefan Galla.

The Freihoff Group has been part of Garda Holding since April 2024. The Gleich Group, the vi2vi Group, Schmid Alarm GmbH and the Freihoff Group have already worked together in the past on major customer projects and complemented each other with their respective expertise. The merger to form a joint group is the next step in the further development of the companies, each of which has grown strongly in recent years. The growth path for the dynamically growing industry has now been consistently pursued through the strategic partnership.

The Freihoff Group, the Gleich Group, the vi2vi Group and Schmid Alarm are now bundled under the umbrella of Garda Holding. The successful club deal has made the merger efficient for the companies. In future, the companies will operate as a group throughout Europe along the entire value chain of complex security technology projects.
